7 mm Gray Maple Wood Inlay Bentwood Ring - BW329
Common questions about our Bentwood Collection:
How are Bentwood rings created? Each one is made to order and handcrafted. Each Bentwood creation is carefully bent by skilled artisans into its final circular shape using an adhesive solution and each layer, piece by piece is coated with a special technique and substance referred to as cyanoacrylate. This process produces a moisture barrier thus protecting against water damage and it also gives the finished piece a stunning glossy finish.
What if I want a different width than the one shown? We can make this style in widths including 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, and 12 mm and all widths are the same price. Should you desire a width other than the one illustrated, please tell us in the Customer Comments section during Checkout.
May I use my own wood or sand or other materials? Yes, if you prefer to use your own wood or materials or if you want us to use a wood inlay different than the ones shown, please reach out to us at email@example.com. We have hundreds of different wood patterns and types and we will try to accommodate your specific needs. From time to time a couple will want to use sand from a special occasion or memory on the beach - we can do that. Have a special piece of wood that has been in your family for generations? We can incorporate it into the finished piece.
What is the warranty on Bentwood rings? Each finished piece carries a lifetime refinishing warranty - this means that for as long as you own the ring you are welcome to send it back to us and we will refinish it for a small fee. Refinishing includes reapplying the wood sealer and touching up blemishes but does not cover splintering, breaking or cracking of the wood. Keep in mind that Bentwood rings are unique in that they are for the most part solid wood - they have no metal foundation and many of our customers purchase them for their aesthetic, intrinsic value - they truly become a collector's piece. And each piece is different - as different as two pieces of wood are different. Each finished piece is a one-of-a-kind, amazing work of art. We caution against wearing your Bentwood ring while doing the more extreme activities such as working out with weights, rock climbing, scuba diving, working on your car or truck, etc.
How long does it take for me to receive my Bentwood ring? Within our Bentwood Collection, each piece is made by hand for each customer and takes apx. 3 weeks.
May I return the ring for a different model or for a refund? Unfortunately not, in that we make these rings to order, they are not returnable.
How do I make sure my size is accurate? With your purchase of any of our Bentwood rings, if you are uncertain of your size we will send you a plastic ring sizer to help you determine your exact size. This service is free of charge.
