Careers
Have you ever considered a career in the fast-paced online jewelry business?

The online jewelry business has one of the fatest growing track records of any career category to date. Compared to the retail sector for jewelry, onlin jewelry sales are skyrocketing. One of the reasons is that the internet is no longer a hit-or-miss experience where patrons felt they could lose their provacy and credit card information at virtually every turn. With encrypted sites and the added benefits of PayPal usage. the internet is becoming not just a safe place to shop but THE place to shop. When considering the ease of shopping - millions of products at your fingertips - and the simplicity of shopping from the comforts of home or office, the internet can't be beat!
So how does one find an exciting career online? How does one search for niche markets that have yet to be developed? How does a person make the determination that the online career is the one for them? Probably no easy and simple answers but there are some basic guidelines that might help navigate through some pretty difficult questions to answer.
First of all, are you interested in opening your own store online? Are you more interested in starting with another company and gaining experience first like most of us have done when starting out for ourselves in a new business or enterprise. A possible start might be selling on eBay. Why? eBay is easy to navigate, easy to learn, easy to list products on and for the most part you don't stand a lot to lose other than eBay fees should the product or products not sell.
We know people who started selling rings (mostly mens) online on eBay and they did not like the margins on this site so they opended a store of their own online. It took a few years to perfect and start selling enough to consider it as a real business to support themselves but over time it worked!
Another suggestion would be to apply at some of the larger online stores such as eBay stores, Overstock.com or Amazon. Gain the experience you need and want and let them pay you for it while you are learning how to go it alone!
